    warm hospitality
    excellent breakfast
    creaky floors
    old house quirks
    limited room space

The hospitality here truly stands out, as the owner helped us with our toddler by storing milk and providing a cot. Breakfast was excellent, with well-prepared dishes and quick service. A minor downside was the typical quirks of an old house, which included some creaking floors, but the overall warmth made this an enjoyable experience.

    friendly owner

Family with children great time spent

So we got into this huge family room right ? It had a fine view over these fields. And the best part? The owner was super friendly and, he even helped with directions to the nearest bus

Wasn't exactly budget-friendly but still manageable.

    old-house charm
    clean bedding
    tea coffee
    cramped bathroom

Decent proximity to the bus stop for easy access to the city. The room had clean bedding and a solid supply of tea and coffee, which made for cozy evenings. The unique old-house charm added character throughout the stay.

The room felt cramped, especially with a tiny bathroom that left little space to maneuver, which may be challenging for some guests. There's no lift, so be prepared for steep stair climbs, especially on the top floor. Wi-Fi struggled to maintain a connection, making it tough to stay connected during my visit. The decor seemed tired and in need of a facelift. The bed creaked with every movement, which could be distracting at night.

    chilly room

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ardleigh House. The friendly host provided us with local tips, making it feel inviting. The bus stop conveniently outside made exploring the city easy. The only downside was the room's chilliness at night. however, the comfort of the bed made up for it.

    chilly room

Had a blast with friends! We enjoyed visiting The Playhouse for an amazing musical and wandering around the nearby attractions. The owner was super friendly and gave us great tips. The room had comfy beds and was clean with good WiFi. Plus, it's a short walk to the bus stop for quick city access.

One downside was that our room was a bit chilly at night, which affected our sleep quality.

    lack of storage

I truly appreciated the warm and inviting décor, which created a homely atmosphere. The staff at Ardleigh House were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the bus stop nearby made accessing the city very convenient for us seniors.

A small fridge for guest use would be helpful.

    room view
    convenient bus stop
    attentive host
    aged building
    inconvenient bathroom

I recently stayed for three nights and appreciated the views from my room. The bus stop outside made it easy to reach the main attractions without much hassle. The host was friendly and attentive, which made the experience more enjoyable. I had the convenience of a kettle in my room, allowing me to enjoy tea whenever I wanted.

The building seemed aged, and the bathroom setup was inconvenient for quick access. The carpets in the room felt worn and slightly uncomfortable to walk on bare feet.
